Anna-Livia Walker graduated in harp in 2005 with the maximum vote under the direction of Prof.ssa L. Saviozzi of the “L. Boccherini” Musical Institute of Lucca, where for two years she won a scholarship assigned to a promising musician. In 2005 she won the FAWCO (Federation of American Women Overseas) Arts Award and in 2007 obtained the Postgraduate Diploma (with the highest mark in the course) at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff, with Prof. C. Thomas. She was awarded the Postgraduate Award and Emlyn Davies Award. She attended masterclasses with well-known harpists: D. Watkins, E. Fontan-Binoche, F. Pierre, U. Holliger, C. Finch, C. White, V. Aldrich-Smith, M. Heulyn. At the age of 14 she obtained a scholarship to study at the Interlochen Summer Arts Academy in Michigan, where she obtained a diploma of merit and played in the senior orchestra. She played for the Olympics in Florence, at the Pontino Festival near Rome, at the Summer Academy of Nice (France), the Gioviano Festival of Young Talent, in Suonarte annual festivals, for Lions Club annual meetings (with flautist M. dell’ Innocenti), at Newport Riverfront Center, at the Salvi Harp Showcase in London…

As soloist with orchestra she played the Suite for lute by U. de Angelis at the Torre del Lago Puccini Festival (2002) with the Boccherini Orchestra. With flautist L. Magni she played Mozart’s concert for flute, harp and orchestra with Operarmonica and the Aquilana Chamber Orchestra at the Corsanico International Festival, at Lucca, at L’Aquila and at Cerreto Guidi (2006-2007). She played with the Strauss Konzert Orchestra (from Sofia, Bulgaria) under the direction of Andrea Colombini in Lucca. To launch the First European Harp Symposium, she played in a harp quartet for Radio BBC – Wales. She is performing as soloist in Great Britain for the association Livemusicnow, founded by Yehudi Menuhin, with honorary president HRH Prince Charles of Wales, under a five-year agreement (in 2009 conducting workshops with special needs children in Doncaster, England).
 In 2008, she played at the Bath Pump Room, Cardiff City Hall and Welsh National Assembly with flautist S. Waycott and was recognized by the Cherubim Music Trust (Tisbury, Wiltshire). In Lucca she performed with flautist G. Matteucci at the “Puccini e la sua Lucca Festival.” She performs with the Orchestra dell’ Accademia (Herbert Handt conducting), and with the Nuova Europa Orchestra (A. Freiles conducting) throughout Tuscany.
